Description
St. Restrup Manor House is surrounded by park and woodland on the outskirt of Aalborg.
In the shop and wine cellar wine tasting events are arranged and handicrafts products are sold. Opening hours: every Saturday 1pm-4pm, groups only by appointment.
History The moat was built by the Gyldenstjerne Family whose founder the viking Ref came here by Hasseris River. The manor archives contain documents from 1314. After the Great Nordic war in 1723, Count Chr. Lewetzau built the existing main building as an elegant example of Jutlandic baroque.
