Sanden Bjerggaard was originally built as a summer villa for the Elsass family in 1918. We have endeavoured to retain its unique style and welcome you to a stay in a warm and homely atmosphere. The hotel has a fantastic location on the top of the coastal bluff at Lien with a magnificent view of the bay of Jammerbugten and the adjacent forest. Here, a long way from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you¿ll be able to unwind, enjoy the superb scenery and recharge your batteries with light and fresh air.

In the attractive rooms of ¿Restaurant Elsass¿ we serve good Danish food and wine from the exciting wine menu. The hotel¿s standard and deluxe rooms were refurbished in 2006 in a very elegant and cosy style with focus on comfort. For a quite unique experience, stay overnight in one of our three lovely mini-suites, each of which has its own particular atmosphere and fantastic sea view. We can offer our guests weekend stays, mini-breaks, longer holidays, or you can combine your stay with hiking and golf. We are happy to provide the settings for major family events, whether these be christenings, confirmations, weddings, silver or gold wedding anniversaries or milestone birthdays. If you choose to celebrate your special event with us, the arrangement will include one of our suites.

With 4-star conference and course facilities we can also provide the optimum facilities for meetings, courses and conferences, and we are always happy to tailor any event to your wishes and needs.
