Hotel Skandia is an old, cosy, carefully restored family hotel in the heart of Helsingør. Hotel Skandia is conveniently located, 50 minutes from Copenhagen central station and a two-minute walk from the Helsingør railway station and ferry terminal.Kronborg castle is reachable on foot in less than 20 minutes. The international Arts museum ¿Louisiana¿ is a 20 minute bus ride away (bus no. 388). A great variety of shops makes Helsingør the shopping Mecca of northern Zealand. In addition the Swedish city of Helsingborg, a 20 minute ferry ride away (three ferry connections), offers a wide range of attractive shops. Near Helsingborg is also the new shopping centre of Söder, as well as the Väla centre, both containing several fine restaurants.Hotel Skandia has 28 double rooms and 12 single rooms, all beautifully decorated. Most rooms have en-suite facilities and all have a new colour TV.
