Blev modtaget i receptionen af en dame, som ikke kunne få printeren til at virke for at udskrive et unødvendigt papir. Samme dame kunne ved udcheckningen ikke få kreditkortsystemet til at virke. Blev eftermiddag og aften betjent af en meget korrekt, men slet ikke smilende ældre tjener. Morgenmadsserveringen foregik med et imødekommende smil og humør. Det kan umuligt være et brud på slottets nostalgiske stil at forsyne bruseren med termostatregulering. Sengenes madrasopbygning var en blød, rodet og ikke særlig behagelig oplevelse. Maden var en særdeles god oplevelse - omhyggeligt veltillavet.

Dejligt sted med smukke omgivelser og god service. Maden var ikke så høj kvalitet som forventet i forhold til den luksus der præger stedet. Gerne et større udbud af aftens måltid. Morgenmaden skuffede lidt. Vi savnede blødkogt æg, bedre pålæg og hjemmebagt brød. Men alt i alt en rigtigt ophold. Vi vender tilbage!

Receptionen trænger til et kursus i service - specielt den ene kvinde som virkede stresset og kort for hovedet.. MEGET afvisende. Anvist værelse på top floor, og jeg er højgravid. Efterspurgte værelse på 1. sal - total afvist - hvilket ikke holder, og bestemt ikke måden det blev gjort på. Endvidere lejede vi hele slottet i 2002, hvor vi havde 100 gæster til vores bryllup. Vi fik det mindste værelse, mens den gule hytten var ledig....Synes i betragning af den sum penge vi betalt i 2002, at der kunne ydes en MEGET bedre service. Men maden fejler ikke noget og fik en super betjening af den mandelig tjener under middagen. Jesper & Michala

I arranged a night at this castle to celebrate the milestone birthday of my partner - and it was magnificent. The staff were very friendly - and I felt the need to personally thank our waitress and chef. The meal and service were outstanding.

Selvom vi endte på fremragende i vores bedømmelse, er der plads til forbedring. Når nu alt andet har været godt og hjemmelavet, er det skuffende med kedeligt opvarmet morgenbrød.
