Description
Munkebjerg Hotel is known as one of Denmark's leading hotels with international atmosphere, topclass service, and tasteful interior decoration represented by classical Danish funiture design. Munkebjerg Hotel features 149 rooms including non-smoking rooms, rooms with balcony, single rooms, and a bridal suite. All rooms have bathroom, phone, and tv (with e.g. NilmNet and CNN). On the top floor, the spacious, well-equipped, and luxurious Tree-Top rooms are located. The hotel also features two large suites with sauna, a separate living-room, and fjord panorama view. From the Panorama restaurant there is a breathtaking view of the forest and the fjord. The menu is international, also including classical Danish cuisine. Munkebjerg Hotel also has its own bakery, confecitionery, butchery, and smokehouse. Additionally, our own florists arrange beautiful decorations for inside and outside use.

I first came to this hotel in 1986. I then thought it to be "The best hotel in the world". I still think this. Needs a little paint/restoring here and there but please don't change anything in this architectural masterpiece. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are light and luxuriant. |
