Hotel Schaumburg is one of Denmark's old "market town hotels". The hotel has been completely restored with a caring hand, and stands today as a modern hotel, but with the soul and atmosphere of days gone by still intact. The hotel lies in the centre of Holstebro's old Town Hall and ample parking facilities. Hotel Schaumburg is a member of the world's largest chain of privately owned hotels, "Best Western", which signifies quality in itself. Holstebro is West-Jutlands main trading town, with 200 varied and exciting shops and is a flowering cultural centre. There are good facilities for angling, golf, rowing, riding, tennis, walks, jogging, etc.
