Hotel Plesner lies in the heart of Skagen within walking distance to the city's museums, the port and beach. We appreciate a relaxed and informal atmosphere. With just 16 rooms, there is time for each guest and the dresscode includes both suits and slippers. We call ourselves Skagen Seaside hotel in town. The atmosphere is characterized by a homey charm, which was founded back in 1906, when the house was built as a private residence of the Skagen architect Ulrik Plesner.

The hotel is now completely renovated and is inviting and cozy in a light, Scandinavian style. The special Skagen light, the air, the sand and the water are used as inspiration, and it characterizes the atmosphere in the small hotel. The 16 rooms are all different in size and decor. Hotel Plesner offers eight beautiful annex rooms, five of these with private terrace and in the main building, six doubles and two larger rooms / suites that can also be used as family rooms. All rooms are equipped with comfortable Hästens beds and private toilet and bath.

The hotel has just brought the patio, as a lovely green oasis. Here is an opportunity to relax in deckchairs and enjoy the sun. The patio is reserved for the hotel guests, and invites you to find your own private spot.
With the house's long history and much of the original building intact, the hotel have ¿the Skagen mood". Hotel Plesner is ready to be a wonderful base for exploring the city, the beach or whatever your dream of Skagen is.

The hotel serves daily a delicious breakfast buffet with homemade specialties. In the high season the restaurant is open for dinner with a menu of seasonal ingredients prepared according to Danish and French traditions.
