Description
Kerteminde is an old fishing town which became a borough in 1413. This charming town in north-eastern Funen is beautifully situated by the Great Belt and estuary. The town and surrounding area are a paradise for touring cyclists, anglers, boating enthusiasts and all other nature lovers. Danhostel Kerteminde was built in 1984 in the southern part of the town, pleasantly located in a green area, close to the Landsgård woods and a stone's throw from an excellent and child-friendly bathing beach (south beach). The harbour and cosy town environment are within walking distance. We are right next to football pitches, tennis courts and a sports hall and are therefore well suited to hosting training camps for sports associations of almost every kind. We have 2 conference rooms (with room for 100 people) and 3 smaller tuition rooms (for approx. 20 people each). All have modern AV facilities. Naturally, we also have a TV room plus an activity room with table tennis.
