We are located in the old part of CPH downtown and next to City Hall Square. Our location is outstanding for Copenhagen hotspots whether it's the nightlife, the longest walking street in the world (Strøget), restaurants, theaters or attractions like Tivoli, the harbor beach or museums, galleries or parliament. Bohemian Christiania and the world famous the Little Mermaid is also close by.
With handy transport links on your doorstep, you are within easy reach of everything that the city and the rest of Denmark has to offer.
Our style is relaxed cosy Scandinavian made in a modern way. The lounge provides the ideal surroundings to chill out, relax or socialize with other guests.
Grab a free book or leave one for others in our book exchange. If you're looking for more liquid entertainment, make yourself comfortable in one of downtown cheapest bars, located right in the lounge area while you enjoy playing pool, foosball or darts with your (new) friends. Play tournaments and Happy Hour EVERY night. We have free notebooks to surf on the internet free of charge for HI Card holders.
The CPH Downtown has 75 rooms to suit every budget from Private rooms for 2-5 people or shared dormitories for 4-10 people. Many of our rooms is with private bathrooms and feature individual power sockets, seating area, personal reading lights, hand basin and mirror.
All Private rooms overlook the square (named "Vandkunsten") with a fountain from year 1910 - a real oasis.

3 star hostels have better information facilities in reception. There are often a small number of rooms with their own shower and toilet. But the majority of rooms have shared shower and toilet facilities, equipped with shelves, hooks and mirrors. The guest kitchen has an oven or microwave. There is a separate TV lounge. Bikes can be parked in a covered bike shed. There are clothes drying facilities. In addition to breakfast, it is possible to order packed lunches and/or dinner. Naturally, 3 star hostels also meet the requirements of 1 and 2 star hostels.

Situation of the Hostel is perfect; at walking distance of the main shopping street, Central Station, Tivoli etc. Rooms are small, beds not comfortable (after two nights terrible back pains) and the number of separate toilets (one) is ridicules for the number of rooms on each Floor. Breakfast is rather expensive for the little choice of food you get. Nevertheless we had a great stay at the Hostel: the staff is friendly and helpful, there is a (small) kitchen where you can prepare your own food and plenty of room downstairs for the kids to play/read. |

The hostel is overall clean. The kitchen is very convenient and useful. The only drawback is the clogged toilets, but there are other ones (just have to wait a bit). |

The hostel is in a very good location, near from everything, and has it's own bar, which is nice. Sometimes there was only one person attending both check-in and bar, so it was a long time to ask for a drink. The rooms were quite good, not to big but comfortable to sleep in.
The baths were really dirty in the morning, too many people and very little care, as 2 out of 3 baths were collapsed, and the one left was really disgusting.
This was fixed next morning by being the first of all in the bathrooms and showers. |

I was very satisfied with my staying in this Hostel. My wife told me that her bed was the best on our journey! The office was a little bit difficult to find, we didn't realise it wasn't there where the rooms were. Maybe You could write a note "Office next door" for travellers like us...Finally we were told where to go by the other visitors. Breakfast was good. I'm sure we will visit this Hostel on our next tour, if possible. |
