Nice and great three days discovering Copenhagen ...but I forgot winter was that cold out there ..days mostly walking outside .....so freezing , was nice to come back to a well heated confortable hotel and enjoy some tea in the room. Breakfast were amazing.

Very nice breakfast with variety of bread and müsli, friendly staff, clean room. Had a few nice days, just the room could have been a bit warmer, cold air came through the windows (end of January, ~-2 °C outside). We didn't know, when we booked that it was a smokers room so it smelled displeasing although we opened the windows.

I had a really good experience. The shared facilities were clean and well maintained and the rooms were clean and adequately furnished. The buffet breakfast was also quite good and the wifi worked quite well. All in all, a good experience. I would recommend this one to all budget travellers.

It was a nice stay at Absalon, but it was hard to sleep because of the noise everywhere. Especially from other guests, but the worst point was my last morning. I woke up because of your crew. They took old beds out and they were very very loud with no respect to sleeping guests.

Please never hesitate to contact our reception staff in case of noise, so that they can take immediate action. With regards to the maintenance issue, I will investigate the matter accordingly. Pleasant staff. Very good breakfast buffet.
Since some guests leave toilets in disgusting condition, I will choose a room with my own bathroom next time.
Awakened very early morning by bins being rolled across pavement in the courtyard.
Two lights in my room weren't working, and the staff fixed them right away. Thanks.

Very nice, great location. Only complaint was that our room smelled like old cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. Otherwise it was very clean and comfortable with incredibly nice staff. Breakfast was great.

This was my second stay at Absalon Annex. Overall, both times I had a very positive experience. The room was small but quite comfortable. The shared facilities were reasonably clean. The breakfast buffet was awesome. You can't beat the location, very close to Central Station. My only compliant would be that a number of guests became rowdy late at night and nothing was done to quiet them. There was a major football match between Denmark and Norway. The Norwegians lost and I assume it was them who were stomping through the halls, slamming doors (over and over), blaring music and singing along defiantly.

It was ok. The hotel wasn't very comfortable. But we got what we paid for. It was very affordable (for Copenhagen). The hallways were too loud in the annex. And the breakfast really needs a fruit option. We actually choose not to eat breakfast because of the crowd and lack of nutrition in the food.

Great location near the train station and Tivoli, but I was annoyed when I asked the reception staff how to get to the Carlsberg brewery and asked if it was open on Mondays - she said yes, so we walked 25 minutes to get there to find it was closed! What a waste of time that was. They should say if they don't know, not just guess. Also we booked a double room but got a twin, but as it was right next to the showers we decided not to ask to change. Showers are great - the overhead rainforest type. But rooms need updating, the TV looked like it was from 1960!

I travelled with my son, and we both enjoyed the stay very much. To my pleasant surprise, we didn't have to wait for the shower or toilet, although we had to share the facilities with a lot of other guests. The breakfast was splendid!

I booked into the hotel annex as it was/is a recommended New York Times "[Travel] Editors Choice" (not only for the facilities, but also for the included buffet breakfast!). All was as it should be. The added convenience (especially for evening arrivals) is that it is only two blocks from the Central Train Station, so it is immediately convenient to the entire urban public transportation system. (Only downside is that one night some of the nearby guests were loud and noisy arriving back to their rooms latenight from the Copenhagen party scene.)
